About

Hi, my name is Sada. I’m a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and a Svastha Acharya  and it’s my hope that through my study and practice of Ayurveda I can help you discover a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life.

Through applying Ayurveda in my personal life, I have found that it offers simple, yet profound tools for helping us live better lives. Ayurveda offers us many tools to help us adapt to life’s every-changing circumstances.

It is one of my joys in life to be able to help you apply these tools skillfully and appropriately to your life, so you too can enjoy the wonders of Ayurveda!

A little about me

In 2009, I began learning about Ayurveda from Gianna Piccardo Ripa. I subsequently embarked on formal Ayurveda studies with my primary spiritual teacher, Shambhavi Sarasvati to learn how to apply Ayurveda to my life as a spiritual practitioner.

In the spring of 2015, I moved to Portland, Maine from Portland, Oregon in order to be closer to Shambhavi and my community, Jaya Kula.

In 2016, I completed the Kripalu School of Ayurveda 650-hr Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) training.

In 2017, I enrolled in the AYU Academy’s Svastha Acharya program and completed the first year. I am currently continuing my studies at the academy with Jessica Vellela, BAMS.

I’m a dedicated meditation practitioner and a student of Trika Shaivism. In my past I have also taught yoga to both adults and children. When I’m not doing spiritual stuff, you can find me playing music, working out, cooking or watching sci-fi movies.
